Say you lived in Illinois and wanted to move to LA..How much money would you save before you moved???

1. 5k-6k if I was living cheaply.
2. We just moved from Missouri to Alabama, and it cost 1300 dollars to move furniture, the job we moved to provides housing, but we had to get food, cleaning supplies, pay off the old bills in Missouri and the new bills in Alabama. We are still trying to watch our money, Save alot 5000 or more.
3. Enough to move, live there for six months or so, get sick of it, and move back.
4. Do you have a job lined up? If not, I'd say at least $5000 to $7500. LA's a very expensive city.
5. about $10,000 just to be on the safe side. you never know when your going to run into something that you need $$$ for. OR if your a dare devil, just pack up and wing it, that would totally fun...........take a chance!
6. Approximatly15 thousand so that you have time to find a job and it takes lots to set up utilities. The cost of living is much higher there.
7. California is an expensive place. I wouldn't live there. Texas maybe, cost of living is lower plus no state income taxes.
