Do you believe that Brett Favre WILL retire this year?
Does it depend on the Packers success during the post-season?

- If the Packers go to and win the Super bowl, he will retire.
- Why should he, hes on top of the world right now and is on fire!
- I agree with How Bout., If Green Bay wins the whole thing Farve will retire. That is his whole reason for playing this long, to win one more Super Bowl.
- he needs too
- Depends on the Packers success this Post-season.
- I doubt he'll retire one way or another.
- Nah unless he wins the Super Bowl he might go out like a champion like Elway did but who knows with him b/c he's tough!
- No unless he gets injured pretty badly.
- the egomaniac will not retire. he'll look back at this year and say "see, i still got it!" and "shoot...i'm playing the best i've played in 7 years thanks to that undetectable HGH" *_*
- hard to say...he's having one heck of a season. Why retire if it seems like you're only getting better? But I think it also depends a lot on his personal life. He doesn't want to miss out on too much of his kid's life and if his wife's cancer relapses, I see him retiring to be there for her. But who knows...he's played through hardships before with his family's support. We'll just have to wait until he announces what he's going to do. He's an amazing player and the NFL would be lucky to have him back for another season.
- favre its going to depend if they go and win the super bowl then he will retire he has nothing else to play for but fun.but if they dont he has said he is willing to sign a 2 yr contract
- I think he'll retire IF they win the superbowl. If they don't though, I think he'll stick for another 2 years
- If Favre makes the superbowl, win or lose, I think he'll retire. If they make the NFC championship game and lose, I think he'll be back, to try and improve on what the Packers did this year. So yeah it depends on what they do in the playoffs. Although, if he had a terrible 4 pick game in the playoffs I could see him hanging them up for good.
- no, he has one more season left in him
- He will contemplate it til after training camp tell everyone he is going to retire and then 2 weeks into the preseason he'll come back for "1" more year
- i said it last year, and ill say it again this year... hes not the oldest QB in the game... i mean, can we say vinnie testeverde? i think that guys like 44 years old.... the only reason people are pushing him to retire is because hes been saying he wants to... love him or hate him, he is by far the most talked about QB in the game... past or present..... future for that matter.... anyone that talks about him being an ego maniac or overhyped needs to look at some of his press conferences... all he does is talk about his team, coaches, and town.... as far as retiring... if he wins a superbowl he will retire... if not... its as questionable this year as it was last year
- I think its a fair possibility he will retire. I think Favre would prefer to go out on top and win one more championship. However, the Packers know they have a solid QB in Aaron Rodgers and should have no worries trying to replace a future Hall of Famer.
- No. He is still the best. He loves the game, and he has a good team now - why retire? The last couple of years, the Packers were lousy, and Favre went through a string of personal tragedies that ten people usually don't go through in that short a time. That is why he was considering hanging it up. As long as he feels his body can still take the pounding, he will play.
- As of right now I would have to say no. The Packers last home game of the season is this week. I don't see Brett not allowing those Packers fans who have loved and supported him for all these years not be a part of his retirement ceremony.
