Because I don't like having to sell my time here on Earth to a corporation.

to take a rest.. anyway i dont wanna hard work, rather i just want to live easy and simple rich life.
So you can do what you want when you want have few if any responsiblities.

so you could spend more time with the one you love and so that you can see the world, experience all of the things you want to do before you die! so you can enjoy your life, especially if you get burnt out from the job!
if u hav enough money to get through without work and are going to get a pention its just nice to have more free time!
i'm tired of waking up at 4:30 am and fighting traffic for 2 hours

to pursue hobbies, travel, do things couldnt do while working...relax and enjoy the rest of life, however long that would be...
Because most people spend their time doing stuff they'd rather not be doing. I am an exception, but even I have to do too much stuff sometimes.
To try and enjoy life. However, it seems to be difficult working or not.
Spend time with family, enjoy my life. Not wasting my time making money which the government takes a big chunk back.
Because I hate my job. Hell, I hate any job. I am made for retirement.
To dedicate more time to God.
To re-live my youth...I had children at a young age.
Often one would like to retire early so they can do something that they prefer instead of the same routine they have been in for 20 years. Also, the life of retirement has changed from previous conceptions of life after 60. Today, many are starting new careers, new hobbies and/or learning important things about life that they never had the opportunity to do in earlier years of their life. Nobody much is retiring today just to sit in a rocking chair and get ready to be cremated at the funeral home.
Life is very valuable. If you have created and accumulated enough funds to warrant retirement, why not enjoy the benefits of this accomplishment? I know that you are worthy of it. Treat yourself to a peaceful and happy existence wherever God has placed you. The world has endless treasures that you can enjoy. P E A C E!!!!
Fantasy question right? So I could travel, spend more time with my children, help in the community and at their schools, have fun. However, at the rate I'm going, I will need to find a way to create income from the grave.

So I wouldn't have to hear my alarm clock go off to go to a job that I didn't want to go to.
My dad did and plays video games. He's having the time of his life. Oblivion is his game of choice. He's probably got 500 hours in various games.
