retirement oz

What will it take for Brett Favre to retire?

He is currently playing great and he's on a winning team. More importantly, he is having fun again. So, I'm wondering, what will it take for him to retire, a Superbowl win, being on a bad team again...what?

  1. I think he will keep playing regardless of whether they win a Superbowl or not, because he just loves playing. Brett played quarterback for my high school team and he just loves to play, period.
  2. I think Brett will retire when he stops having fun. When you stop having fun, even getting up in the morning for practice is work.
  3. I think if his hydrocodone hook up gets busted Brett will be forced to retire.
  4. How's this for a storybook finish? He leads a game winning drive against the previously undefeated Patriots in Super Bowl 42. He's named MVP of the Super Bowl, then announces his retirement.
  5. when his lease is up on the energizer bunny.
  6. when they bust him for drug abuse....AGAIN. *_* fake adrian peterson... that's the whiniest comeback i think i've ever seen. he sacrificed? gimme a break. he was a drug head and an egotist who wanted everyone to know at the time that the reason why his play was slacking was because of the addiction. do you defend roger clemens with the same whiney behavior?
  7. Born and raised in Wisconsin, you never want to see your hero fail. Year before last, last year disappointment was written all over his face, but when something went right he had that Brett Favre smirk on his face. He LOVES the game, LOVES Green bay. I think as long as he is physically able he will continue to play this game he loves for the city he loves! GO PACK GO!
  8. A super bowl, breaking records, or an injury. (i hope for the third one)
  9. Probably when he is no longer the best QB in the NFL.
  10. It's really hard to say for a guy with such a genuine love and passion for the game that is still performing at a very productive level. He will retire when he is ready and that's all that can be said.
  11. one of two things will make Favre retire... 1. He stops loving to play the game 2. His arm literally falls off short of those two things happening i dont see him retireing(at least for another couple of years) and why should he... he is able to still play the game at the caliber required and still loves doing it
