Any good business ideas for a 17 year old?

Any good business ideas for a 17 year old? I have invested money in mutual funds but it is not enough. I want a business to earn more. If you have ideas, please do give me some. What good business with small capital? I am interested in those making programs for companies and also web development and mobile development applications. If you have ideas, please do post here. Maybe I should look for partner that will look over business while I am going to school? I want to be like Gates in the future or Trump. How do you market something like a newly created program via visual basic? Or any other computer programming language? How do you market it to big companies that will buy the program? I need programmers. And if I FOUND PROGRAMMERS and made a program, how would I market it then?

1. You could try reading some business books. Since your idols are Gates and Trump you could start by reading some of the books written by them or about them. Good luck.
2. You are probably tired of hearing this but you should go to college. Sure, Gates may not have stayed in college but that was then and this is now. Your chances of financial success increase greatly with an education. It sounds like you are interested in management and business so I would suggest you go to school for that. You can learn how to do business. You should become familiar with economics, accounting, management, marketing, communication, and law, for a start. Once you get your business up and running you're going to need lawyers to help you out, you know. Big companies want to buy programs from credible, professional people. You won't look professional not knowing much about business. Sure, there are those few cases of facebook, ebay, napster, and so on but if you're hoping to become one of those I think you are even worse than a girl who is not yet into acting who wants to be a big-time actress. SURE, it IS possible but you would have better luck playing the lottery. Until you actually make it, you MIGHT AS WELL go to school, as a backup plan. One thing you should also know is that college is not high school. I hated high school. The first year of college is similar to high school but I LOVED college. Don't decide against college before you've given it a chance.
