studying overseas and getting qualifications recognised here?
My son wants to go overseas to america to his father when he finishes school. I am not in the position to give him a university education but his father is. He was thinking of becoming a radiologist and i believe they go to what is called x ray school and it takes about 2 years. How would these qualifcations be treated if and when he returns to australia?

- There really shouldn't be a problem. Only courses involving law, tax etc are not recognised as much. I left australia to study Chartered Accounting and it is recognised in Australia. If you're not too sure just call up the respective department and find out. I'm sure even universities will be able to help you on that.
- I can't answer your question, but I can correct something you said. A radiologist is a doctor. They don't go to x-ray school, they go through medical school and residency. A radiologic technologist is an x-ray tech. Just an FYI.
