Can you receive military and federal retirement?
I've asked around and found 2 different answers. My husband is in the reserves and recently entering as a civilian in the federal government. We are curious to know if you can get both retirement checks.

- Yes you can. Military is your husbands career, and any retirement or pension he receives from that is separate from the Federal retirement. My father retired from the Military, the FBI and is now drawing his federal also.
