How do I retire in the Sims 2??
i want one of my sims to retire, she is elder. I clicked the phone and quit job, but she doesnt recieve cheks and on the job thing it doesnt say retired, it says unemployed. Why is this? and how does she retire?

- you don't just do not go to work and she will lose her job
- Just dont go and get fired.
- When you're an elder, go to the phone and call your job. You should be given the option to Retire on the pie menu.
- Eek! Whoops! Ya weren't supposed to quit; when you called her job, you were supposed to select "Retire." However, I'm guessing that you'd have been able to figure that out if the option had actually been there, so did it even say that you could quit or retire when you called? Or did it just say quit? Either way, there's not way your sim can get a pension check now. She can look for an elder job; they're much less time consuming.
