Is Russell Peters retiring?

My friend and I are a big fan of him. But on Thursday, she told me that he's retiring. But he's like only 35! She told me he has some kind of illness something. Is it true?

1. I hope so. His "comedy" consists of nothing more than imitating his parents so no one will take offense when he trys and fails to mock other cultures for cheap laughs. I'm willing to bet that if he had to limit his act to non-racial comedy he would have nothing to say.
2. No, he is not retiring. He did say he was retiring some jokes about parenting.
