How can I save money making only $6 an hour?
Right now I can only get 20 hours a week at work and make $6 an hour. I work at 9am then go straight to school as soon as I get off. It takes me approximately 45 minutes to get to school, and my car is definitely not the best on gas. Usually I can go about 280 miles on a tank of gas. I have to go to school 4 times a week and work every morning and some evenings. I need to save money so I can buy furniture and stuff for my apartment that I have to get in the next year or so. Please give me some advice on how I can save better or earn a little exta cash. Gas here can vary from $2.45 to $2.65 and it costs me between $38 and $40 to fill up

- It is very difficult to save money on such a low wage. The key is to start with a percentage and stick with it as you increase your income. It sounds like your gas is a big part of your expenses and is all necessary. However you are doing a good thing to increase your future earnings by going to school. As far as future expenses check out craigslist and free cycle to find low cost or free furniture.
- O suggest don’t buy snacks, cigarettes, candies, beer, and only go to the places you really need to go. The people usually spend a lot of money in those things, take into account how much you expend too.
