Overseas student needs help applying for a studend visa to continue to uni in australia.?
Ok, I've been an overseas student for 2 years and this is my last year (year 12) until my visa expires. Is it possible for me to apply for a visa to continue to uni here in Australia if I dont have any Australian relatives to sponsor me? (The last visa was a sponsored visa by my cousin who is an Australian citizen, but now he will stop sponsoring me). If yes can you tell me what requirements I need and what forms I need to complete? Also what course/career path (2 or 3 years max) should I take if I wish to work here after uni and apply for a permanent visa? And is it possible to use a Tafe certificate to apply for a permanent visa? (for the "skilled assessment" requirement) Please help me. Thanks heaps.

- You should talk to an immigration expert or lawyer. They have all the information. They can guide you as to how you can extend your visa and how can you get a permanent resident visa. There are many many immigration lawyers based in Australia. You can search them through the search engine and write this same email or question that you have written to 10 or 15 at same time or you can even call them.
