Should i save money if im planning on going too.....??
m a junior in highschool and im planning on moving to california were i will attend college there.. i have no relatives there so im gonna need a place to stay and a job.. adjusting there i know will take some time getting use to especially being from canada and all.. so saving i know will be benificial.. but when should i start?? should i start looking for a job now?? how much are studio apartments down there?? how much money should i save to start me off there? im gonna look for a job when i go there but im gonna need a house and stuff... so any advise u have for me would be great!! how long would it take aproximatley to save the amount of money that i would need in regards to living expences ie food, shelter, clothing...

- Rent depends on where in CA you are moving, but studio apartments in the Los Angeles area go from $795 up to $1200 or so a month, depending on neighborhood and amenities. Electric, gas, TV, phone, internet, figure probably about about $350-500 depending on usage. Food, unless you eat only ramen noodles, heh, I'd figure another $150-200 maybe less if eat cheap and don't go out to eat alot.
