Money making ideas for an under 13 year old sister?

I have a little sister and she is eight, turning nine in September. I know it sounds crazy but she has already gotten into making money. So if any of you have ideas? Of course she dosn't mean like thousands a year, just like proper pocket money. She is saving up for something that is about £30 at the least, so that is her goal. we live in the UK so we are in pounds and pence here. I know it might sound a bit silly to some of you, so don't start saying stuff like "Oh, she shouldn't be doing that sort of thing at her age!" or something because our family has a thing for spending wisely. Please answer with stuff that is legal and that maybe you did when you were her age. Plain ideas will be great, thanks alot!

  1. My daughters raised money by making bracelets and key chains out of beads.
  2. Does she have a family member who is in business for themselves? If so she could pick up some extra money helping them out doing odd jobs.
  3. definitely garage sales, lemonade stands. she can even go through her old clothes and sell whatever she doesnt wear anymore. thats really good she is starting young, i think. she can also make arts and crafts and sell them, or even she can make greeting cards and sell them.. the ideas are endless!! good luck to her!
  4. If she knows how to work on computers well, She can do online surveys or online typing to get some money monthly
  5. my sisters go around and shovel when it snows, they rake leaves, and they babysit for our relatives, because they r not old enough to babysit legally, which is, i believe, 12. those r a few ideas. hope i helped.
  6. try getting her to do more chores at home and pay her like 30p or something i used to walk my neighbours dogs for a few pounds a week. try getting her to do things like going to the shop (only a close one) for a few little thigs and letting her keep the change. and give her little "tips" for helping out
  7. mhmm small things like.. making cards and selling them... something which is not pure mechanical and also allows her to think imagine.. so i guess she can do painting... or any other craft work
  8. Do work around the house and have your parents pay her, or she can help your neighbors
  9. Make birthday or other greetings by hand and sell to friends with your sister's cause written at the back.if she is doing it for some worthy cause. If it is for for personal benefit sell only among friends. It is perfectly alright for her to learn how to raise her own funds, whatever her age is. Have u seen the " the Peanuts worm stalls".
  10. you can come and do my laundry.
  11. I know that times have changed but maybe she could babysit. I don't mean on her own but if your family has friends with small children maybe she could watch them while mom takes a nap or a long deserved bubble bath. You don't have to worry about a lot because the parent is there and if any serious probs come up she will have help. My daughter did that this summer she was 10 then but it gave her a little money of her own and some added responsibility. She is going to take first aid and cpr classes this summer so she can watch kids while parents go out.
