i live in tenn. work for the state ,i can early retire from state and want to know if i can draw disabled too?

1. My wife was in a simular situation. She was forceablly retired due to her age. At least they gave her a good retirement package. She then went to work at a simular job, worked for a few years, then had to leave due to MS. The second company put her on disability. As soon as she applied for SS her disability was reduced by the same amount as her SS. If you are going to take early retirement from the state and also try for disability from the same employer. I wouls suggest you have a sit down with someone fro human resorces. If that's not possible, find a local lawyer who is fimiliar with your problem. Good Luck
