why does it have to be a younger talent to retire flair why cant they bring in someone he used to feud with?
i know that in the wwe its all about getting a guy over but i havent seen very many guys in the wwe today that would be worthy of beating flair for this honor.when he was in his prime he would wrestle 60 min matches and cage matches all the time.he and the rest of the guys would travel almost nonstop every day of the year almost until they was injured. he brought the world title to wwe when he jumped from nwa/wcw to wwe.he put guys over without him sting would not have gotten over as much. i dunno who from his past feuds could still compete but that would be the fair thing.

- i agree. i think it should be someone like hulk hogan.
- no young guys deserve to be the guy to retire flair. if the wwe had a deserving young guy i wouldnt mind it but none deserve it now. maybe if cody rhodes had more experience i wouldnt mind seeing him retire flair since dusty and flair use to have a great rivalry but that is about that. i would prefer to see sting be the one to retire flair though or anyone from the horseman.
- I want to see Dusty Rhodes do it in Charlotte. How could there be a more perfect ending than that? His primary lifelong rival retiring him at home.
- Not MANKIND, Not Mick Foley, BUT CACTUS JACK bang bang....
- I'll like to see piper take on flair
- I think it's going to be HBK
- I have seen Ric Flair wrestle for more than 30 years. In my eyes there are only 10 guys worthy of the honor of being Flair's last opponent. 1. Sting (his greatest opponent in Flair's own words) the rest are in no particular order: Ricky Steamboat Dusty Rhodes Terry Funk Arn Anderson Roddy Piper Bret Hart Triple H Shawn Michaels The Undertaker Vince doesn't care about Ric Flair's legacy, legend, or his fans. More than likely he'll want Flair to job to some undeserving kid like Orton or Kennedy just to try get "the rub" from being the one to "retire" the greatest pro wrestler of all time. And that would be an insult to Ric Flair and to his fans.
- I would have loved to see Undertaker vs Flair in Wrestlemania. Career vs streak. But thats not happening. Sad to say i have a feeling it will be Vince McMahon in Wrestlemania
