Which cricketer retiring is unseeable by you?
My favourite cricketer Yuvraj Singh getting retired-That day will be a unseeable day to me.Yuvi is a real rockster and he is doing great and I can't imagine the day in which he will retire.I do want him to play cricket for 14 more years. He is currently 26 and he should be playing till he be 40 and even when he retires on 40,that is hard to see.I can't imagine that time. And Gilchrist is retiring in few days and he only has maximum 3 matches left in his career. He retired in test having played 99 matches and did not complete his 100th.He is just few runs away from 10000 runs in ODIs and he will not do that.He should had retired after he had atleast made 10000 runs and I dont think there was such a hurry for him to retire. He still should had played for 1 more year. And I feel extremely disappointed at that great legend retiring and that is also hard to see by me.Well,Gilly good luck for the IPL and I will be very happy to see you there. Please give a comment on Gilly as well. And please answer here seriously and I do need you to answer here.I wanted to ask this question since a long time and so I have asked it now and please answer here seriously: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080229010942AAlsQkI&r=w I have not yet recieved a answer. - inzimam i love him i am his big fan
- Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, I pray to god that day never comes when they retire.
- RAHUL DRAVID - I am sure that I cannot live without watching him , he is such a treat t watch and I really do love him, I really don't want to think about that day when he calls it quits , that day is going to be the end of the world for me,I don't think that I will be the same again after he retires and then again my friend asked me what I would have been if Rahul had never ever played cricket and my answer was, I would have been some one else but not me, Believe me ADI this question has really made me cry and i really don't want to think about this day. I dreamt of him retiring him and Igot up in the middle of the night and started all crying and sweating. I am alsoa great fan of Yuvi, I also don't want to see him quit and I am sure there is a long road ahead of him. About Gilly retiring, He has always been my favourite aussie player and will always be.Even though I don't like Australia I used to watch their games just to see him bat and wicket keep, its really nice to know that he has recieved MOM today, he thoroughly deserved it.Well done Gilly!
- sachin tendulkar retiring is unseeable for me because he is my favourite.i may cry when he'll retire because i'am such a fan of him. i'll be feeling sad when gilly also retire because i like only gillchrist amongst the aussies.he is also a very good wicket keeper and a good batsman.
- i just can't even imagine the day when Rahul Dravid would retire. this world feels so empty if i think about the fact. i don't know what i would do when he'd retire. even now, when people say Rahul Dravid is a senior player, would not play for more than 2 years, 2007's wc was his last worldcup, this was his last tour to england or australia or bangladesh or somewhere or this is going to be his last tour to anywhere......etc etc.........i feel so bad that i can't explain in some words. i can't think about the Team India without Rahul, i CAN'T think about 'cricket' without Rahul, the GREAT WALL of India. gilchrist's retirement shocked me too. he should have played more. i just hope Rahul won't give me a shock again like he had given before by resigning from captaincy. he didn't tell anything to anyone. i do not hope he'd do something like that again. but however he would announce it, it would be the most shocking, sad and unacceptable news i'd ever hear. yuvraj is just 26, he has a lot of time to play, and you're thinking of his retirement? just think once about me. the one, for who i learned cricket, i started watching cricket, the one for who i fell in love with cricket and the one for who i'm an indian supporter (though i'm a bangladeshi) today will not be in international cricket anymore! how painful does it feel? i know it doesn't make sense, but still i pray to my God, may Rahul never retire and atleast may he play 10 more years.
