There really is no way to get rich, is there?
You rob an establishment/person, the government stops you. You play the lotto, you don't win, some idiot on a farm does. You write a screenplay and query an agency, but most of them won't accept unsolicited writers. You ask God for help, he never listens, regardless of how many good things you want to do with the money for the Earth and its people. You gamble at a casino, you either lose or you don't get much back to retire from your job. You get injured, not your fault, and you file a lawsuit worth millions but the court or whatever plays the run around with you for months so they don't have to pay you. The government doesn't want people to get rich anymore. They have the dollar-making machines, why not just make more money? Stop acting like money is so scarce you have to wait for the sky to rain, money is MAN-MADE, the govt. can make MORE. Are we all meant to suffer and die broke? From a struggling indie filmmaker.

- Well some people seem to manage to get rich so obviously there are ways. But let me give you some advice: You would be better off trying to get rich by doing what other people think they want than by doing what you want. I'm more interested in getting happy, and I'm pretty much there most of the time now. This goal is much more achievable and much more worthwhile. A bonus of this success is that as I know that material things won't make me happy, I usually have more money than I need.
- If the government just makes more money, then the value of the dollar will get even lower than it already has. Instead of paying $1 for a mcdonalds cheeseburger we would have to pay $10. Instead of $1.50 for a 20 ounce bottle of pepsi we would be paying $15............get the picture......... Just think about how when our parents and grandparents were young they had to pay $0.15 for a bottle or soda, and now since the government has put more money into circulation, causing inflation, the prices has raised. If they keep adding money, prices will still raise. Instead of whinning about it, go out get a job while working on getting a degree, and then you can live a comfortable life. You will not be rich, but you will have enough money to never have to worry about whether you are paying your heating bill or buying groceries this week. And honestly money is not everything. You do not need to be rich, you just need to have an income high enough to pay all your bills, plus enough money for a few extra items. That is what is wrong with the world today......it is all about personal gain and nothing more.
- Money is an artificial object. It only has value because we humans assign it value. Money has no natural value or purpose in nature. So do not use money as a yardstick of success in your life.
- I know some who are rich. most of them had college education, very determined, knew what they wanted set the goals and achieved them. They do things that have meaning for them in their life and they work for themselves. have their own business. But money does not make the man or buy happiness. It does make some parts of life easier and more freedom. So yes you can get rich. I have seen many a time up close.
