I never thought this would happen, but Brett Favre is retiring...?

I don't want anyone to mistake me for a Packers fan. I am however a Brett Favre fan. However, with all the talk of whether or not he would retire, I(in my young 20 year life) thought I was actually gonna outlive his football career. lol. Anyhow, now that he has in fact decided to call it a career, I have these 2 questions in mind: 1. Where does he rank on the list of the all time greatest QB's? 2. In 5 years when he will be eligible for the HOF, do you think he'll get in on the 1st ballot?
