retirement oz

I sent this guy I am dating an article about Brett Favre retiring since he is from Wisconsin.?

He wrote back saying it "truly brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for thinking of me." He didn't ask me out or anything. How should I respond to that?

  1. In WI Brett Farve is their LIFE! So he's probably just too sad to even think about dating, yup its that pathetic in WI!
  2. Don't do anything!!!! Don't contact him, don't call, don't chase. If a guy really wants you, he make sure that you know. This is probably a sign that he's not really interested in pursuing you or he would of used this opportunity of contact from you to further more contact. In the future dont go sending guys articles on anything. It's like a neon sign saying "pick me, I'm desperate!" Sorry sweet.
  3. "You're welcome."
  4. So you sent him the article trying to initiate him asking you out on a date and not just thinking of him? Well send him another message tell him that you instantly thought of him when you read the article...blah blah blah! Then, you ask him out. If your message didn't indicate wanting to go on a date how is he going to know!? If it brought a tear to his eye maybe he wasn't focusing on a date for the moment. You ASK him out. Women do ask men out this day and time! I honestly don't see that he has done anything wrong. If you sent him that and said something like what are you doing this afternoon? Then I would just say hey wanna get something to eat lateR!! However, you don't want to be too persistent about it. Guys are supposed to chase us. Some guys don't like it when women throw themselves at them.
