- Best ever!
- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- not breaking anymore that happened like an hour ago..... He wants to play backyard football.
- I am as shocked as you, but look at the 10 questions under yours. We been discussing this for a little while now. But i will miss the greatness he brought to the league.
- i was hoping to see him play at least one more season, he really wanted more talent surrounding the team; and maybe that might have convinced him to return to action for one final year which i would have love to see...its gonna be different looking packers from this point on without Brett.
- Very suprised, especially after being so rejuvinated this year. I mean, he was fantastic! I think he is doing this because he doesn't feel the Packers have improved, especially with their receving core. I'm goin to miss seeing him play though, I have always been a huge Brett Favre fan! First Ballot Hall of Famer!!
- Classy
- good for him!!!
- It's about damn time. Those are my thoughts!
- Ima Miss Him He Was a FULL BLOODED PACKER
- Brett Favre has had a great career in the NFL & it's time for him to step aside & let a younger generation take over. 17 years in the NFL was good for him, but now he must face the sunset of his playing career & call it quits.
- aint heard about it, but assuming its true, its well overdue. His performance has been slipping (as expected) with age. Last season was a far better season than I ever expected him to play and its probably a good idea to leave on the best note he is probably ever gonna get.
- Heartbreaking, this is a terrible day for Packer fans.....
- About time
- Thanks for 17 seasons of football Brett!
- A little annoyed with all of the people bashing Farve. I have always been a big Farve fan and hate to see him go. Would have really enjoyed watching him one more season. I understand his leaving, but still dissapointing. I really do get annoyed though with all of the people that bash him at a time like this. Comments like it's about time or that he wasn't that great. You can have an opinion, but you don't necessarly have to bash a guy that has contributed so much right now as he is leaving.
- I just wonder who will be the new guy that the pundits sycophantically gush over now that Favre is gone. Peyton or Brady, I imagine.
