- You can't be mad really. I'm a die hard Brett Favre and Packer fan but you have to think about it this way. He had nothing left to prove. He said himself today that he was mentally strained from all of this. What use to be fun for him was turning into a job. Also I think it is time that the Brett Favre hands over the team to Aaron Rodgers. His contract is almost up and they need him to get more friendly with the team. The sooner he takes over the better for the Packers. I think it was the right decision.

- im a huge brett favre fan, and i do hate to see him go, but he played an amazing 17 years. its time to step down sooner or later. might as well end on a high not like this season, and its good to end it while he can. he has issues at home beyond the field as well.
- not mad, but more disappointed. he had a good run. I mean 17 seasons, and breaking all those records. I didn't think he was going to retire. I mean to end your career on an interception? anyway green bay is a tough team and they took a humongous loss, but they'll be alright...GO PACK!!!
