- I was kind of depressed.
- Wow crying is a little extreme. I simply said "had to happen sometime" and went on with my day.
- LOL...Well, I didn't CRY. He just retired, he wasn't diagnosed with leprosy. He's going to go home, eat some crawdads and wait for the Hall-of-Fame to call.
- The Packers have always been the same great team that we love.... Brett was just a good addition to it. Now that he is gone, it will still be the same Packers, just Brettless. Don't lose hope. The Goonies stole our motto. Packers NEVER say die!!
- I have heard of "where were you when the 9/11 attacks started" or "when the shuttle Challenger exploded" questions, but this is ridiculous.
- i took a dump
- Wow, take a chill pill. It happens. People retire. Green Bay will go on, I mean, Bart Starr retired and the Packers still continued.
- I did a fist pump, then a Bad John Madden Impression
- Brett Farve Retired?? I must have missed it and kept on reading about how much Randy Moss and Ben Roethlisberger are going to make. My bad.
- I was surprised...I figured he would be back for at least one more try at the Super Bowl after the year he and the Packers just had... Favre has been the face of the Packers for 16 years...Don't worry...His backup, Aaron Rodgers, has been ready for the past couple years...The Packers will still be good...
- since I'm a bears fan i did the same thing i always do when i hear that attention whores name.......spit
- I made lunch. Sorry, not exactly a "where were you when Kennedy was shot" moment in history.
- Being a Bears fan, I cheered because we never have to face him again. It won't be long till he gets that HOF phone call.
- celebrate that he finally made way for a good younger quarterback
- I thought, "Chr!st, man, he was a good player." I never really liked him until this season. He is an absolute HOFer. Leon [Seahawks fan] Chesterfield, England
- abit shocked and now packers need to get a good QB in cause Rodgers is s*it
- There will be alot of teams and fans glad that he's gone, but that's because they didn't see or watch Brett Favre as a real asset to football. There have been alot of quarterbacks that have gone out and won games, but unlike what Brett has done it. I'm not a fan of a game won by the kicker making it for three points and winning the game, maybe this year that will change that a win can't be by a field goal. There have been alot of great quarterbacks, but very few that will still be talked about as will Brett in the years to come, watch and see I don't see it happening for about two or so years, but to see the Packers on top again would be great. Look back on all the team that were great and still haven't rebuilt to where they were. (Raiders/49ers) To have a state behind a football team the way Wisconsin is, means alot, how many teams have sold out seats for years. Right now you can't get season tickets unless you know someone that's willing to let you have them or if a family wants to will them to you. From the state of California which has seen alot of teams come and go, GO PACKERS
- poop
- CHEERED!!! Minnesota has a chance for the division next season!!!
- I got on the y/a football section and tried to find questions that had nothing to do with him- almost impossible
- I came directly to Yahoo Answers.... cause I knew for the first time in months there would be a topic other than the Patriots or Giants.
