Car dealer overseas in Camp Liberty?

Say what? Is this for real??? Because I was talking to a former soldier he said they have car dealers in Camp Liberty. He knows I need to buy a new car and build my credit report. He said I oughta do it there cuz they give deep discounts like overseas, and this and that. My friend in Afghan says his airfield has the samething but only Jeep and GM. I wanted to know which ones are at Liberty. How exactly does it work? Will it help me build credit?? If anyone knows. Thx

  1. It is true. Mainly American cars. May be different cars in Europe.
  2. I don't know which ones are at Liberty, but if I recall correctly the AAFES progam works something like this: You pick the vehicle you want (subject to credit approval just like everywhere else) Begin payments on the vehicle you selected. When you return from overseas, you pick up the vehicle you started paying for while you were gone (at certain locations only, I'm sure) The best thing I remember hearing about this is that if you bought the car overseas in 2003, but didn't return until 2006, you actually get the latest model available (at the price of the old model you chose)
