retirement oz

Anyone else agree that Ric Flair should retire a monster heel ?

How would you feel if Ric Flair turned heel at WrestleMania by playing the role he plays best, " The dirtiest player in the game" by cheating his way to victory. Anyone else agree that Ric Flair should retire a heel, weather its at WrestleMania or a later ppv. ? How would you turn the crowd against him, since it would be a difficult task in my opinion ? Flair is synonymous with the word heel, he personified the word heel in the 80s, and those that are long time Ric Flair fans would understand where im coming from with my persistance on him turning heel one last time.

  1. yes i do beleive he should retire heel but it doesnt look like its going to happen
  2. No, knowing the storyline writers, this is it for Nat. and with him being elected in the Hall of Fame, it is better to go out in ablaze of glory. Why do you think Kennedy and MVP couldn't get the job done?
  3. wrestling is scripted so yea........
  4. in the 1980's you did not need a scorecard to know who was good or bad and the warriors walked in the middle now you don't know who is doing what because the good guys break as many rules as the heel. but ric could win by pulling on the tights something slick not horrible
  5. Would be a very good idea. But for this storyline it wouldn't work though. But Flair should retire a heel. Greatest heel in wrestling history, dirtiest player in the game. WOOOO !!!!
  6. I WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR FLAIR TO TURN HEEL AGAIN. I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE ONLY GUYS THAT FANS NOW ADAYS CAN ALMOST ALL AGREE TO RESPECT ARE THE LEGENDS LIKE FLAIR AND HOGAN. YET THEY BOTH HAVE SOME HATERS MOST RESPECT THEM WITH FLAIR HAVING LESS HATERS THAN HOGAN. AGREED THOUGH IT WOULD BE COOL IF IT HAPPENED.
  7. Personally i'd love to see Ric turn heel one last time into his "dirtiest player in the game".For me Ric worked his heel persona to best effect with the Four Horsemen. It would be great if Ric won his way to victory with help from the Andersons or Tully coming out to help him one more time. But it looks unlikely as he's set to retire after WM24 & move into a backstage production role.
  8. no he needs to go out with a bunch of fans
  9. Ric Flair was the best heel in wrestling in the 80's and 90's and the second greatest heel of all-time (Freddie Blassie was THE best). I have been watching Flair perform for some 33 years. I think Flair should retire as the (mostly) beloved and respected living legend that he has become. One of the reasons I want to see this is because of the way he was treated in WCW during the last couple of years of its existence. Two big-time idiots (Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo) were put in charge of ruining (not a typo) WCW. Their idiocy led them to conclude that Flair was "old and boring" so they went about screwing him over (with asinine storylines) and burying him. Millions of Flair fans disagreed with this. The two biggest stars in wrestling in the 80's and 90's were Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan. Ric Flair should have been the one to lead the charge against the nWo (perhaps the greatest idea in wrestling history, and Bischoff and Russo screwed it up; did I mention they are big-time idiots?). Flair and Sting together against the nWo would have been gold. Instead, they turn Sting into the Crow and take him off TV, and turn Ric Flair "crazy" and put him in a "funny farm". Just amazingly brilliant! Flair, being the professional that he was, tried to make this crap work, though it killed him inside. After Bischoff and Russo finished killing WCW and slunk away, Flair went to the WWF a broken man. It took a couple of years for him to find the "Nature Boy" again and he has been entertaining us ever since. I want Flair to retire as the beloved and respected living legend that he is. I want him to retire with grace and dignity. I want to see him retire with a standing ovation from the WORLD, and I want those two idiots, Bischoff and Russo, to see it and maybe, just maybe, realize how badly they screwed up by screwing over and burying the greatest performer of all time. And I hope it eats them alive. No, I want to see an old-school wrestling classic from Flair and Shawn Michaels. No face, no heel, no storyline. Just two of the all-time greats giving us a show to remember.
  10. yes, sounds like a good idea to me. WWE won't let it happen though unfortunately... I love his cheating ways in which earned him the distinction of being called "the dirtiest player in the game" I'm gonna miss his trademark strut and his shouting of "Woooooo!". LONG LIVE RIC FLAIR!
