  1. Oh happy day!!!!!! Can you guess where I am from?
  2. im not a Packers fan but i will miss him.he was a great player and a blue collar guy.The NFL needs more players like him.not these panzy ass guys like Romo
  3. I am...It is truely sad. I will say this though he has left a lot of great memories for us Packer Fans
  4. As a Dallas Cowboys fan I am glad he retired but as a football fan I will miss him.
  5. Life goes on, I'm not a packer's fan, but we all knew it was coming. . . He was a tough football player who also has had a lot of distractions off the field: alcoholism, his father's death, his wife's health. I sincerely respect the man and what he stands for whether or not he was a good football player. If he was running on the right-wing ticket for president, he would have my vote.
  6. What!! He retired??? Oh nooooooooo!!!!
  7. I am a Steelers fan and even I don't think he should have retired. I really liked watching him play and will miss him a lot.
  8. Im from Georgia and i was hanging out with sum friends who are the biggest gb fans eve and we were listening to the radio and it said that Brett Favre retired and 2 of my friends started to cry and i was like what NO this cant be happening cuz even down in georgia we luv favre!
  9. everyone already knows he retired
  10. I'm a Cowboy fan and Favre was the best ever. Period!!!!!
  11. I am a vikings fan for life, but i have to admit that when i heard Brett retired i felt that little piece of football leave me; that absence. Favre was one the greatest people to watch play. He played the game of football like no one else. The things he could perfect that other QB's could never do was amazing. He had a great heart and an awesome personality. Im 18 years old and i grew up watching that guy. My dad has been a hard core packer fan all his life. Im going to miss him along with many other football fans!
  12. I am from Green Bay and was soooo sad tuesday that I barely functioned (it was quite crazy becuase everyone on the road here Tues was literally driving ten below the speed limit all friggin night it was utterly crazy but cool!) and Wed I was a bit better but still really bummed, thursday felt like the world stopped, I don't know how familiar with GB you are but as I was leaving from work to my house to watch his press conf. there was no traffic on Ashland Ave. (one of the busiest streets here) at all! I think I saw two semi trucks but that was it! and after hearing him talk, I felt better... I mean the guy gave us 16 years and while it sucks that he's gone, you can't blame him.. and he wont be "gone" so to say, I think we'll see him many more times! I also think it's exciting to see a new era... we've known for so many years what to expect and have always had the luxary of "Brett will be on the field" that you never really had to worry. You knew if he was having a bad game, it was going to be really bad in a great way, and if it was a good game it was going to be great! We don't know now, and the unknown has me interested! Plus Brett himself had plenty of great things to say about arod! So I'm still sad but excited to see what the future brings and soooo happy I got the chance to see him play!
