can people retire whenever they like?

if they are like 60 could they still be working if their 70 if they wanted to, what is the normal age people usually retire

1. They can retire whenever they would like. The age range of 60's through 70's is just a standard range of retirees.
2. If you can retire at 50, go for it.
3. Wish I could retire, have to continue to work to afford things like a roof, heat food etc. I'll probably never be able to retire.
