  1. nope I am glad he is gone. I am tired of him lighting up my bears
  2. yeh.. he was a legend.. but sometime good people like TO and randy moss wil retire..
  3. Nope, it was about time!!
  4. Redskins fan here. Yes, I am going to miss him. He had a real passion for the game. And he is one of the few that I really believe when he says it wasn't about the money.
  5. I never really liked Favre or hated him. He did his job above average for a long time. I think Rodgers will do great though. It's a real shame his last play was a pick.
  6. No I'm quite happy. It's been a long time coming. He should have retired at least 2 years ago. EDIT- I see the thumbs down, Brett Favre loving fairy is out in full force. Dude seriously...get a damn life. Majority of the fans have spoken. No one is sad that the wuss in tights is finally gone.
  7. I hate to see his caliber of quarterback retire. He was a classy, selfless guy. But after 17 years, I am glad to see him go out on a winning note. Maybe not the Super Bowl, but just a fantastic season.
  8. BOO HOO Lets all CRY together................. ONE TWO THREE>WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..
  9. I am glad he has retired. He has had a wonderful career.
  10. I am less sad this time. The first time he retired I was sad. The second time I was a little less sad. The third time not so much etc. etc. Maybe the next time he retires I won't be sad at all. And the next time after that I probably wont care to much either.
  11. Yeah I was sad but like i said before...I'd rather have him be able to walk off on his own choice instead of getting injured and forced to retire. He can't play forever and he's missing a lot of his daughter's milestones. As for Rogers...he hasn't been able to prove that he can stay healthy and that worries me. He either gets hurt in the game, or in practice (dumb!). I guess only time will tell.
  12. No. A lot of people said that he was done during the 2005 season. I was at M&T Bank Stadium when the Ravens picked him apart during Monday Night Football that year. Anyway, he returned strong in 2007. Aside from his marginal performance in the postseason, he went out on top.
  13. HECK YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. No cause i don't want the Lions to loose to the cheese heads.
  15. I think he could have at least done it at the Packers last home game so that the Lambeau faithful could have said goodbye in their own way. I'm sure they will do something for him during next season but it's not the same. It's good he retired. It's time to sit back and enjoy the family.
  16. Not at all. He had his years of glory and he played until he couldn't no more. I'm happy for the success he has done!
  17. As a Packer fan of course I was sad, as well as shocked. I am happy for Brett though, as he is doing what is best for himself and his family. Thanks Brett for 17 great seasons!
  18. Yes I am sad about it. I love the Bengals, yet Favre was always one of my favorite players in the league.
  19. as a packer fan yes i was sad at first but not now i am happy for him so he can go in peace and enjoy time with family not sad here FYI ....... hate to say this but thats old news i think we need to get kurt warner free the F/A to get a fire under rodgers azz .
  20. I can't say that I am sad, but I will miss number 4 behind the center on Sundays. He made the game enjoyable to watch and the outcome always in doubt. I wish nothing but happiness for Brett and his family, may they they enjoy his retirement. For the rest of us we will see how Aaron runs the offense.
