Who is sad that Brett Favre retired ?
Public Comments
- Green Bay Packer fans.
- Grew up in Wisconsin. Spent many Sunday afternoons watching football with my Dad and brother. Dad swearing at the TV. Me and my brother laughing at him but getting into it. Yeah, I'll miss watching Favre-y.
- Only people not sad are fans of teams he rolled over. The guy is a legend, and all legends have to hang em up sometime. #4 in the programs, #1 in our hearts.
- I am not a Packer fan, but I am sad Brett is leaving the game, its the end of an era 17 years WOW!! Incredible! My sons are 27 and 24 years old, they don't remember anyone but Brett at the helm!
- I think Brett is probably the saddest about it. And he shouldn't be. He is a living legend...gave everything he could give...nice down to earth guy.... But all things must come to an end. Nobody should be sad, everyone should appreciate what he accomplished and wish him well in retirement. I like what one sports writer said, "They should bend the rules and put Brett in the HOF immediately." True that.
- the only thing that makes me sad about it is all the crap we are going to have to sit through this year and watch and listen to about him...screw him good by get your old butt out of here good ridence!
- Ehh Im not losing sleep over it..
- I'm kinda nostalgic. Lets see what Aaron Rodgers can do as a starting QB
- I AM Because he was the Best Quarterback in NFL History No Auguring that Fact.
- i wash shocked when i first heard about it, but was glad that he went out when people still thought he could do more. Meaning he had a great season and everybody expected him back, well he said enough...i;m spent...let's chilll and do some jean commercials
- Well, I think Brett Favre retired at the right time... and Packers have to go on without them.. Remember this folks Packers existed before Brett Favre came to Green Bay.. and they will continue to exist after Brett Favre left..
- since i love the Packers im sad and a little happy. Im sad b/c he rocked and was the best. Im happy that he ended his career being in the top three QBs in the game in 07-08
- It was a sad time but it was coming sooner than later. We should remember him for a remarkable season he had leading the Packers into the playoffs with a first round bye. Unfortunately the final play of the game blew it for them but he had a fantastic season given the prevous one was a bad one for him and the team. I always remember Brett for playing under personal adversity and kept pressing away. This past season was some of the best football I've seen him play.
- GO VIKINGS, aside from that, as much as it hurts me to say it Favre was great but you know what, Aaron Rodgers is not bad at all
- I am! Even though im not a packers person i still like Farve cause he is a postive person i do remember that game when the Packers went against the Oakland Raiders after his father died.
