A tribute retirement speech for a mother who has worked at City Hall for 38 years.?
My mother has worked at City Hall for 38 years and is retiring on 3-27-08. I'm the youngest of 4 kids and she has asked me to make a speech at her retirement party. My mother is well known and an important person in our community and for once I would like to MAKE HER feel proud and hold her head up high instead of embarrasing her. So can anyone help me write a tribute/retirement speech for my mother cause I have no idea on how to begin or end this speech?

- Start by telling everyone how proud you are to be her daughter. How she managed to have a full time important job but still find time to raise a family. If you start that way I'm betting more will come.
- You can end by wishing her a good health and continuing to attend the activites of society in village.and you are pride that you are born by your mother and swear to try study and work and belive that your mother are always a sense standing all your life...
