  1. You gonna save enough on gas to pay for the bike?? prob not my hemi cuda dont use that much
  2. I dont know where you live but if your Winters are cold and snow'y then it's pretty much of a waste.
  3. There are a lot of factors that only you can answer. You certainly can save a lot of money on gas compared to a 4 wheeler. But a motorcycle is not automatically the right solution. For a commute like that I would want a minimum of 500 cc machine. Beyond that, I can't give any more recomendations since I don't know about your situation in life; namely money. I have enjoyed them ever since I was 17 and am 51 now. But please be careful if you do get a m/c.
  4. If you have the time, I recommend that you read up a bit to see what's involved with owning a scooter/motorcycle. http://www.msf-usa.org/index_new.cfm?spl=2&action=display&pagename=Library Owning a bike comes with a lot of whatever, and with a baby due soon, it's a serious decision and it's hard to make recommendations not knowing your living situations, but I wish you the best. Good riding.
