Why was Jay Leno "forced" to retire?
I am looking for a reason other then people just saying that he sucked. I know he isn't the funniest person in the world, but why the forced retirement?

- He signed a contract that gave Conon O'Brien his gig after what like 10 years or something...& now he changed his mind and doesn't want to quit so they were renegociating
- I have met Jay. I do not think he was forced, rather, he probably realized he had to set a date. Then NBC decided on Conan as his replacement so as to not have the controversy they had when he took over from Johnny. Who knows, maybe he'll come back as a stand-in. Headlines Rocks!
