Overseas Job?

My family would like to transition overseas. I have a degree in Business Management and will finish my MBA in December. I have years of purchasing and mangement experiance as well as founding and running a not-for-profit. Does anyone have any great websites or points of contact that might be helpful in starting our search, we would be very grateful.

  1. Well I'm sorry but I feel in a bit of a nasty mood at the moment. You already have a degree in business management, and will soon pick up a Masters. All this study has not taught you how to search for a job? What langauges do you speak? Or by 'overseas' do you just mean English speaking countries? I have no wish to burst your bubble but, to get any real help from this forum more info is needed. OK I'm in a bit better mood now. Here is a starter for you, just type your question 'Overseas Job'? into your search engine, any search engine. Wade through that lot. I spent the last 15 years of my working life in many different parts of the world, never been out of work. You appear to be looking to emigrate? A permanent move to a permanent place. If that is the case then type in a different question onto your search engine. You will need a few months to sort all the pro's and cons out, before you get your Masters. I dont know anything about you, your profile is bare, dont know where you are from , dont know anything. Well at least I can say I wish you luck, you have a lot of reading to catch up on. Beware of con men on the sites you find. Yes I have really cooled down now, my profile is an open book, as I have 'been there, done that' feel free to contact me any time.
  2. Why would an organization hire you instead of hiring someone from their own country? You have to have a *strong* answer to that in order to find a job in another country. If you want to work in a non-English-speaking country, then you also need to be able to work in the local language before anyone will consider hiring you. I can't help you in terms of for-profit organizations, but many nonprofit organizations and international aid agencies post their openings here: http://www.reliefweb.int (click on "vacancies") and http://www.developmentex.com
  3. Just to point out quickly, you misspelt "experience."
