Military Retirement and Health Care?

If a military person is retired and than gets married will the spouse fall under his Health Care also? Or does she will have to get her own?

1. She will not fall under his previous or current health care plan. Your best bet is to find a younger one and run off with him if medical benefits are your only concern. Just spend an hour in Fayetteville, NC.
2. Absolutly she is covered, she would still be listed in DEERS, and given a dependent retired ID card, just like a child born after retirement would be covered.
3. As soon as he adds her to DEERS she is able to use his Champus/Tricare medical.
