How and when do you get your Fleet Reserves paper after retiring from military?

Retired with 20 active years and 3.5 years reserves time and has been out over 7 years. I haven't receive my Fleet Reserves certificate yet.

  1. ask your commanding officer.

  3. Shortly after TRANSFERRING TO THE FLEET RESERVE you should have received your papers. You should know you only RETIRE after you have completed a TOTAL of 30 years (I transferred to the FR 11/85 and received my Retirement Certificate 11/95). I would contact a local personnel office and ask them to check into your FR papers. Good luck. (USN, retired)
