How many of you have retired well or are on the way of retiring well?

So what are your tips for a good retirement? I need some good advice because when I become a senior, I'd like to be well off. I'm in my 20s if that helps.

1. I'm well on my way. Two 401K's (from 2 jobs) an IRA, a pension, lots in the bank, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, cars and condo paid off. And I'm saving like a fiend right now. The way to get there is to get a good education. Find a field related to your education which pays well and that you like doing. Do it well, very well. Work hard, get noticed and hopefully move up the ladder. All the while, live within your means. Spend much less than you make. Wisely invest the rest. Work for a company that offers a 401K and put as much into it as you can. Buy a home. It offers tax advantages and builds equity. And don't get involved in an ugly divorce. Avoid the get rich quick schemes. They are all schemes. Asking how to get ahead is a good start.
