When Pudge retires from baseball should the Rangers and Tigers retire his number?

Why or why not? What is your opinion? I think they should in Tex atleast.. he was on of the main players who got us to playoffs. lol Adam. Oh yes..there both the best. Rusty im a closer third. I think they would both (especially TX) be crazy not to.

1. Hmm... I don't know about the Tigers, but probably the Rangers, since he's spent the most time there.
2. I think the rangers should because he had his best years here in Texas.
3. out of thoose 2 i would say the rangers...unless he wins a wolrd series with the tigers but i think the maarlins should because he helped the team win a world series
4. He definitely should have it retired in Texas, that is where his most productive years were. But it wouldn't surprise me if the Tigers retired it also. Rodriguez would be deserving of the honor from both teams; he was easily the best catcher in the game for many years. He's also a lock for the Hall of Fame, IMHO.
5. I hate to say it, but YOU WASTED 5 POINTS!!! This is a no brainer. 1. He is the best catcher today. 2. He is one of the top 3 catchers of all time. 3. Along with Nolan Ryan, Pudge is the best Ranger of ALL TIME.
6. Yes! Of course....why? Because he has so many records that will never br broken....he needs only a handful of games caught to be in like the 2,500 range. 13 Gold Gloves, 14 time all star...and i coud on and on.
