Should people retire at 40 if there millionares?
Im thinking about snooker in UK. It such good money these days that players like Ray Readon if they were around today would retire, well like Steve Davis.

- Lott's of luck
- 1 million put into a money market bearing 4.5% would bring you about 45k per year... you can live off of that easily
- You make "retire at 40" sound like the end. If you're 40, and you don't have to work because you're a millionaire, then the big question is "what are you going to do in your spare time?" George Burns once said "you know what you do when you retire? You play with your cuticles. I've tried it. It gets boring very quickly. That's why I came out of retirement and started doing these shows again. Being up here on stage is a lot more fun than playing with your cuticles." And he was 95 when he said that.
- the retirement age is now rising
- I would if I could, but I want to make sure that I am able to live it up when I retire, not just live.
