Anyone have a list of Birthday Party Ideas & Supplies for 40th party?
Im throwing a surprise 40th birthday party for my boyfriend...Any good ideas for the party itself? Also, does anyone have a list of things i would have to purchase for the party? Its going to be a party of 100 with a DJ and catered but i haven't thrown a party of this size and have no idea what else i need.

- *try to find a theme hes into- casino, fav sports team or sport, 70s or 80s, school colors, whatever you think he would like best. *make out guest list then send out the invites about 3-4 weeks before the party- make sure you out on them all the right info, and that it's a surprise so not to spill the beans! dinner to be served- drinks separate charge? *get all the decorations in order, order balloon arrangements, buy other decorations to fit the theme *any other props for the party- guest sign in photo frame, picture board of your boyfriends pics throughout the years (hit up his mom for some cute baby pics!)or make a slide show of pics, party favors, centerpieces, tablecloths *any games you're gonna play? check with DJ too to see what kinds of games they do, get all the supplies and prizes *are they supplying the cake- order that that should be pretty much it for the supplies since it's being catered. get a plan going for that day and how you will get him to the party, find helpers to help you decorate and pick stuff up that day if you can't sneak away to do it yourself then PARTY!!!!!
