Can a 66-year old individual with no retirement or regular income file for a tax return and be eligible for the stimulus package check in May 2008? Thanks.

- I believe you had to have made over $3000.00 to get one and then it would probably only be $300
- You need $3,000. That could be Social Security (with no othere income, that is tax free) and file the form and get the check.
