retirement oz

Do you want to retire young?

What would you do with your time? My husband was saying that he doesn't want to retire. I'm a little on the fence. I would feel better if it's my choice. I don't like the idea of being forced to work when I'm like 80, if I make it that long. If you do what you love then what's to retire from?? That's fantastic. Sorry Kel. I hear you. I hope not.

  1. it all depends
  2. I would never want to retire "young". I am going to school in order to work for many years in a satisfying career. I think that the age of fifty would be the youngest I would think of retiring.
  3. I am starting college at the end of this summer, and if I can get a job doing what I want to do, I don't know if I would want to retire young, to be honest! I'm going into the Biology/Ecology field because I want to work with nature and help it out, and I really wouldn't mind learning about that topic and working with it until I was literally unable to work anymore! =P Besides, I could travel the world doing research, and traveling the world is what I would do after retiring anyways, so why not just research and learn more while I do it, right?
  4. Possibly. I'm going to make sure I have the option.
  5. Oh Dear ANY God YES!!! I would LOVE to retire young!! Unfortunately, I'll probably have to keep working until about four years after I'm dead!!
  6. I'm going to work in some capacity forever. I have a feeling once I retire, I will soon after die. I teach college courses, so it won't be hard for me to at least do a course here and there into my later years.
