Any Game ideas i can play with my parakeet?
My parakeet isn't very old but i've been trying to play with her. None of the books tell me any games i can play with her. Any thing parakeets like to do in particular?

- yep.. they like to play bell games and puzzeles also may be.. willing to do things for a treat.. But I like to play hide and seek with my flock. You could also purchase a fun playgym stand for ypur parakeet. (Note: playgym stands are all designed to the birds type)
- Well, they love mirrors, that's for sure. My friend told me once that there are such things as bird leashes so you can take your bird outside without losing it. She has a parakeet but didn't get the leash because she thought the parakeet might go crazy with all the things outside, but I don't know. To me it sounds like fun taking a bird on a walk, but it really depends on what your parakeet's like.
- peekaboo my sister's bird loves that. and try shaking keys at her. the like the ringing sound. Oh and singing yeah my siste's bird likes that too so sing to her and get her something she can crawl through. Try looking at petsmart and lisashea website.
- once I put a mirror infront of my bird and he couldnt take his eyes of himself!!!
- Yeah my parakeet loves to watch a ball fall from the top of his cage. He even pushes the ball with his beak and turns his head to hear when it hits the ground. My parakket loves to play that game, you can even put the ball on the ground and your keet might roll it around!!! Good luck
