What are some good or creative ideas for a watercolor painting??

I want to make a picture for Christmas, and I want it to look classy and beautiful, something special. I'm pretty good with watercolors so that isn't a problem, but I'm not very creative and want some ideas. Thanks! It doesn't have to be for Christmas, it can be for any December Holiday, Thank you!

5. Hi: I sort of struggle with coming up with Christmas cards images every year. Some ideas are: Painting a nice winter landscape scene. A poinsettia study. Christmas cactus. A pair of birds like Northern Cardinals, Carolina Chickadees, Cedar Waxwings, Dark-Eyed Juncos, various sparrows. A nice snowflake on a patterned surface. Doodling a little might help you too to come up with some idea. Also, check out the wetcanvas website. There are thousands of copyright free reference photos submitted by members.
