What is the best overseas vacation destination for the novice traveler?
My fiance and I are American citizens and are planning our first overseas trip. We would like some feedback on what would be the best destination considering; attractions, exchange rate, ease of travel, accomodations, etc. We are looking for a "hidden gem" that will offer the best value for the price. - Hi Eric, There are many "hidden gems" but they are expensive in general. I would like to suggest to go to the Dominican Republic the town of Puerto Plata ( north coast) and with many good not to expensive all inclusive resorts. If you need more info just let me know. Happy to help you Happy Feet
- Singapore: English speaking (for the most part) and fun.
- go to tahiti. if youve got a few g's to spend, definately go to tahiti. its worth it. trussvilletravel.com has great prices on flights and cars, plus a low price guarantee on hotels. you should look there.
- i'll suggest the Philippines its has a gr8 exchange rate compared to the American Dollar you could look it up on yahoo travel
