When sending item to troops overseas, are you supposed to send the baby wipes with or without alcohol?
I'm sending a box overseas and the solider I'm sending it too has requested baby wipes. I remember reading somewhere that it's better to send either baby wipes with or without alcohol, but I can't remember which. Can anyone else remember?

- well when i was overthere it didnt really matter which ones we got as long as we had them, they are like our lifeline. im sure whichever ones you send they will be greatful just because you are taking the time to do something for them and if all else fails why not just send them one pack of each you cant go wrong with that
- yeah i can help. i'm one of the many thats been there. i prefer the ones without the alcohol in them. alcohol has a tendency to dry out the skin, and if you have any kind of sunburn or rash, it will send you to the moon. and if they use them like they are supposed to they will use them on the most sensitive parts of the body. would you want alcohol on your private parts after wearing a stiff uniform, walking for miles, in heat, with all that sweat?? just some random thoughts here. hope i helped.
- I know that during Desert Storm, someone sent me a box full of the KFC wipes. Those were great. Another buddy got some that had alcohol in them and it was great for cleaning tight areas inside our tanks, but bad for the skin. I would send ones without alcohol due to the fact that it drys the skin. Thanks for your support
- I would send both then they can decide themselves! If they want to use it for cleaning their face then they can use non alcohol, if they want it to do some super cleaning then they can use the alcohol ones! If they dont want them there is always someone else out there who would appreciate them and swap em for something else.
- no alcohol and unscented is what my husband uses over there.
- The only alcohol you're not supposed to send is ETOH. In other words, no booze! Baby wipes, even the ones with alcohol, aren't considered booze.
