After you retire from the Air Forcce, is there a way to become a lawyer or teacher?
By teacher I mean regular one or PE. Anyways after I retire I want to have a fallback job then get into politics. Does the Air Force Academy have things to also get degrees to get others jobs later in life or would I have to go back to school?

- I thought that if you joined any branch of the military they pay for your tuition...
- The Air Force Academy is going to give you a great education and you will certainly have plenty to fall back on. Your leadership education and experience will pave your road rather nice for you. If you wish to go back to school, that is your choice. While you are serving you can also continue your education and obtain advanced degrees.
- yes. my dad retired from the military after twenty years and became a very successful real estate agent and got his brokers license. so i think that you can become whatever you want
- Yes I have a family member who retired from military service and now is a federal judge.
- there is a program called troops to teachers, here is their website http://www.dantes.doded.mil/dantes_web/troopstoteachers/index.asp also if you are going to the academy and you want to be a lawyer just choose to study law and if you can get into that program you can be a JAG lawyer while your in
