Of all the online money making ideas, which would be the best?

I want to make money online but not interested in affiliates, am a decent writer, what's the best option for me. Am considering opening a number of blogs. Also would it be worthwhile to learn Adobe Acrobat for freelance work or any such related skill.

Since you said that you are a decent writer, freelance work may very well be a good option. Among the blogs that you setup, designate one as a personal blog that really shows off your writing style and what you can do. Start contacting large blogs about guest posting opportunities to get your name out there, and then others will be more likely to hire you, it also gives you some material for your portfolio. Buying established websites is one of the most profitable for me and the easiest because the creator of the site has done the hard work, you just have to keep it going and making money. Domain parking is great because you can get some domains set them up and forget about them, they work in the background. But you do need to look into domains that will acquire traffic to them, you may want to buy already trafficked domains from auctions and forums, it will save you a lot of steps. If you can type and help with marketing etc., you can be a virtual assistant and surprisingly it pays pretty well, even when you are just getting started. I would suggest hanging out in the webmaster forums and getting to know a few people, it will be easier to find work. Blogging seems to be the hottest method of making money online, it will take a few months of your time to get your blog off to a decent start, but once you hit that sweet spot the money will start to flow. I always use a variety of keyword research tools to find niche topics and then optimize the blog for those keywords to rank highly. Then install some Adsense or other advertising and away you go, its pretty easy. As for Adobe Acrobat, I have been making money online for several years now and have never had any reason to use it, so I would say no. Keep things simple if you can. 11. Okay, first off, bloggers make pennies a month. Most blogs consider it a huge success if they make $100 in a month. Second, when you go to a survey site you usually pay $30 to sign up and are never given $30 worth of surveys. Third, blogging takes so much time for such little payoff it's so ridiculous to do it.
