Unfortunately most of the opportunities you will find from some people, does only good to those people and nothing to you, maybe does bad to you if you paid something, which i do recommend not to do if you are not sure ! 3. It's not really a business, but I personally suggest doing surveys for some extra income in addition to whatever else you come up with, they can be quite lucrative if you're patient. The key is to sign up for lots of sites (ONLY free sites!) so you can maximize the offers you get. You can easily get over $100-200 per month pretty quickly, and quite a bit more if you stick with it. I wrote about some of the ones I like to use at my blog in the source link if you're interested.
4. You are going to get a lot of answers on this one. I would say find something you love to do or a product you believe in. I can tell you my experience but it is ultimately up to you. I am with a company that has amazing spa, skin care, anti aging, and make up. I started using the products way before I joined this company. I saw results in just a couple of days. The reason I joined is just to make a little extra money to pay for my sons (twins) braces. That was 5 1/2 years ago. Since then I have done that plus much more. The company pays commision on what you sell. 30% to 55% and then commission on the team you build. 4% to 36%. Depends on what level you are at. Perks are that they have a 401k fund insurance available for all consultants, trips, jewelry, cash bonuses and even a car. The car is yours to keep no matter if you quit the next day. They give away Ford Mustangs. The company also offers FREE professional training in your area to help you get started. They want you to have all the tools and support available to be successful!!! Now what we do is schedule spa escapes with our family and friends at first. They invite their family and friends to enjoy in the pampering. We pamper them from head to toe and do it in their home. Bring the spa to them. Show our products and then if they want them they can purchase them from you. Average spa is now $500. It used to be $250 but with everyone not going out anymore the spa $$ have increased. It is a way for them to get away from the daily grind. If only for and hour.... I don't know what you are looking for but I know this has worked for me and many others. I am a full time high school teacher with a master's degree and 16 years experience. 9. I agree with some of the others in saying that it ultimately comes down to picking something you will enjoy. I can tell you what that has been for me. I was a full time teacher until last year. I quit to stay home with my two little ones. The cut in pay REALLY hit home! I've been searching all year for an opportunity to make some extra money. Just about a month ago, I decided to become an independent demonstrator for a company called Uppercase Living. It is a relatively new company that sells decorative lettering. It's a product I'd never heard of, but once I saw it I loved it! It looks like it is painted right on your walls--or wherever else you choose to put it. It is set up so that you book your own open houses. It works great for me because my husband is a banker. He is home by 5:30 and off most weekends. I just book my parties so that I have time to get there after he is home from work.
