2. like make her a basket like some soap and one of the puffy things and the stick thing and some bubble bath but make it look nice
3. A scrapbook of how your friendship has grown over the years. Include pictures and memorbilia...it is time consuming but a hit, and shows how much she has met to you over the years. You did not indicated what type of shower...baby, wedding ???
4. Make a baby necessity basket. Start with a baby tub, dish pan or diaper pail. Fill it with diapers, shampoo, baby wipes, all the stuff you can never get enough of. Make is look nice then wrap it with cellophane and tie it with a pink/blue bow with a rattle hanging from it. Or do the same idea but put things for her into it. I did this for my Sister and she loved it because everyone gets something for the baby but not for the Mom. I put lemon drops, a small photo album, lavender lotion, lavender bubble bath, a crossword puzzle book, and a few other little things that she could use during labor and after the baby is born to help her relax. I also made up a certificate for a free babysitting and added a gift certificate for a dinner at her favorite restuarant. She cried when she opened it AND it was the only gift with things for her in it.
