Will Rev. Wright ever apologize to Americans, whites, the wealthy, Jews and others he has offended?
Don Imus apologized, even after he was fired Wright appears to be defiant. He retired to a $1.6 million mansion, and not even one word of apology
Public Comments
- stop beating that dead horse So what, he earned it, now move on who cares about Imus, he could have stayed at his job for all I care
- next question!
- You know it's funny. Obama, on "The View", said the Rev. said he was sorry. I didn't hear of any apologies.....
- No.
- The Americans are forcing even their friends into becoming their enemies. It is curious that the Americans, who calculate so carefully on the possibilities of military victory, do not realize that in the process they are incurring deep psychological and political defeat. The image of America will never again be the image of revolution, freedom and democracy, but the image of violence and militarism." Its shocking stuff right?
- Why would he? He's not sorry!
- He doesn't owe anyone who is a racist an apology. The Jews had Jesus killed. How dare you, since you want to go to the gutter on this. And most Jews feel superior to black people and use them worse than Hillary and Bill.
- He won't because he meant every word he said and is a TRUE anti-American and racist person. I can't believe that Obama chose this evil man as his mentor if he's a pure and clean as he says he is.
- Why would he? He stated facts, he just used the wrong words to state his comments. He can apologize for the word choice and rephrase everything he has said with better vocabulary.
- No, racist black americans are held to a different standard. Kinda like affirmative action.
- Someone as arrogant as Wright will not stay quiet forever. At some point or another he's going to want to start spewing all his racist words again. Right now he's being "kept quiet" by the Obama clan until this election is over. I wouldn't be surprised if Wright is given a position on the White House staff....you know like Director of Race Relations. What a joke!
- I will not apologize to you, and nobody's going to keep me and my brothas accountable. Because it's America, face it dude.
- He probably doesn't think he did anything wrong! In his twisted mind, "Why apologize?"
- move on
- Do you even know what the Reverend said? Has it ever occurred to you that many people feel that way about the US, particularly the way we have treated blacks and the way in which we have acted like imperialist aggressors?
- I don't think you will get the apology in this life time because he does not need the public's approval.
- Probably not.
- Don't you know skin color is what brings guilt. If you is white you is guilty.
- To what end? Would you believe him anyway? Do you even care if he's sorry, or is this an excuse to try and drag out this "controversy" since you can't find any actual dirt on Obama directly? Perhaps you'd just like a chance to take his words and twist them like a masochist's nipple? Let me help you out. Try to find other people in the periphery of Obama's life- see if they've got controversial opinions of something? He's got to have a mail man, right? On the other hand, perhaps it's time to ask yourself, "If the worst thing I can find about Obama is that someone he knows once said something that I strongly disagree with, that was topically unrelated to Obama, then maybe he's not so bad?"
- Is there any sympathy for the Jews? Beginning of their existance they where slaves in Egypt and built the Pyramids for thousands of years. then, Moses came and took them to freedom. and for a few centuries they had power. until they killed jesus and after that for a thousand years the crusades killed millions of them. Then Hitler took 20 mill lives. Now there are still jews dying in Jerulism.
- When America apologies for Slavery, Jim Crow laws, rape muder or when you hear the entire sermon and not what FOX told you.
- In some of his excerpts, Mr. Wright states that the government has inflicted AIDS on black people, and that thhttp://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/23/us/politics/23churches.html?_r=3&oref=slogin&pagewanted=print&oref=slogin&oref=slogine United States deserved the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11. In mid-March 2008, news stations began broadcasting clips in which Mr. Wright's most extreme statements, including snippets from sermons in which he referred to the United States as the “U.S. of K.K.K. A.” and said the Sept. 11 attacks were a result of corrupt American foreign policy. http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/w/jeremiah_a_wright_jr/index.html?8qa&scp=1-spot&sq=jeremiah%20wright&st=nyt The real question, of course, is not why Obama joined Trinity, but why he stayed there for two decades, in the flock of a pastor who accused the U.S. government of “inventing the H.I.V. virus as a means of genocide against people of color,” and who suggested soon after 9/11 that “America’s chickens are coming home to roost.”http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/24/opinion/24kristol.html?hp
- his apology would be meaningless;wouldn't it? Those who hate Obama will continue with this nonsense. Don Imus is a nationally syndicated radio personality who has been the darling of major politicians for the last 20 + years. he has been a major player in the shaping of public opinion. If you let Rev. Wright go, his 15 minutes will be over. Don Imus's insincere apology was so he could get back on the air. i think you can find him on XM radio now.
- No, He is too holier than thou in his racist hatemongering to ever apologize.
