Is Money the key to happiness?

In my opinion it is, if you're wealthy and can retired, what's not to like about being able to play on the ps3, watch tv, go to the beach, drive around in cool cars, go on holidays, have a nice house, hot girlfriend Whoever said money doesn't bring happiness is the biggest idiot ever f*ck love, gimme a million bucks over true love any day

  1. no
  2. never. not unless you're using it the right way. it'll never please you enough.
  3. It can help but it cannot guarantee anything, first you got to know what you want, then everything will follow.
  4. Eventually things go away. Material items go away. And none of it will matter.. then what will you have to show for it?
  5. No ....real happiness is contentment :)***
  6. you're the idiot...........money creates greed. once you have a taste you want more because you spend more. before you know it you're broke and living on the streets
  7. maybe...... but, would your mind be stimulated......... prob not, but hey, keep dreaming dude x
  8. go ahead. get a lot of money. call me when you're done. tell me if you're happy. you probably won't be. haven't you ever seen all the movies or read all the books where some guy tries to gain happiness by getting rich but there's a sweet, conry ending where he eventually learns that trues happiness comes from love, or family, or home, or whatever other thing the author of the story picked?
  9. I'm not sure if it is the key to every thing that could make you happy.. But it can sure unlock a lot of interesting doors!
  10. Money cannot buy happiness but there are certain essential things which you cannot get without money. - access to decent health care - proper shelter - heat and light - food - clothing - certain aspects of education. That said, so many of us have more than we could ever need or want and still aren't happy. I see friends who have huge houses and big cars with very good salaries and lovely clothes but they still aren't happy. And others who live in small apartments, drive small cars and buy their cloths in the sales but to talk to them you'd think they'd just won the football pools. They just seem to have a sunnier outlook.. in fact it could wind up bringing despair and loneliness
  11. not if its YOURS
